Timmons Group describes core spaces for 187 inmates. Correctional News reported the law-enforcement center completed in 2017 with 220 initial beds and core capacity for 300. Carolina Public Press later described the new jail as a 230-bed facility and reported that the old jail had held about 70 people. Who Bladen County Jail Holds

Bladen County Detention Center is a county jail, not a state prison.
